His journey began with a strong academic foundation at the University of Central Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and pursued post-graduate studies in Cellular Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry, followed by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Emory University. Dr. McIntosh is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. McIntosh has served as a Clinical Instructor at Emory University, shaping the next generation of oral surgeons. He has been recognized for his leadership and contributions to the profession, receiving the Pierre Fauchard Academy Leader Award. He has lectured internationally, sharing his knowledge at Hanoi Medical University and the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology in Vietnam.
Dr. McIntosh has a broad range of experience, from corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, and maxillofacial trauma to the management of TMJ disorders and oral pathology. He continues to pursue advanced training and education, staying current with innovations in implantology, bone grafting, and esthetic surgery. He holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Dr. McIntosh is committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to his patients at North Georgia Oral and Facial Surgery, where he works alongside Dr. Ramani. Outside of his practice, Dr. McIntosh enjoys contributing to medical education and staying connected with the latest developments in his field.
